$3,680,000 raised to reimagine emergency care at Southlake
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, our community stood united in their support of Southlake’s Emergency Department, raising an incredible $3.68 million for our hospital.
Supporting Leading Edge Emergency Care at Southlake
The Emergency Department is Southlake’s front door. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Southlake’s ED sees 120,000 patients annually—twice as many as when the space opened over 20 years ago.
Southlake’s hard-working physicians, nurses, and staff work tirelessly to maximize our space, minimize wait times, and maintain a high level of care, but they urgently need an environment that matches their abilities and efforts. We cannot accept hallway medicine for our families, friends, and community. We cannot accept anything less than leading edge emergency care. We cannot afford to wait.
Support of Southlake’s The Future Is Now Gala will help to expand and upgrade our patient care spaces to meet emergency care demands, and replace end-of-service equipment with the latest technology, ensuring Southlake remains a magnet for top talent.
